15th Day- An Easter Story

This is a story I wrote for school. It is about Jesus' resurrection, and it is told from a soldier's point of view. I hope you like it!

I have nerves as tough as nails, armor as strong as iron and a sword capable of cutting stone. I was one of the best.
I was on my night watch when a group of women came to mourn. They were wearing black and white; sorrow crowded their faces, and their shuffling was filled with sorrow. While they were mourning, a figure suddenly appeared. Light emitted from it. It had eyes as bright as the sun, it had a booming voice, and, with strength unimaginable, it rolled away the stone. Suddenly, I fell unconscious.

When I woke up, I saw one of the women talking to the man who had been in the tomb! I had seen the man die on the cross three days before! I realized that I was nothing compared to this man!
